2025 Season

I'm not sure the spray does any good with this generation of players, indeed, IDK that Bennett has ever used it, although Bellyache still does.

Anyway, Des is still likely the first coach officially sacked this season, and may potentially be the only one if the other under-pressure coaches AOB, Payten, Benji and Siebold are given the start of 26.

If you're a believer in the power of the spray (Joey Johns says it was well deserved), the Titans' away to the Wahs are paying $3.60 or $1.90 at the line of 11.5. I'm tempted.

Stoked for Parra. But can;t help but sit here and thing "WTF" to the footy gods last sunday
Somebody up there felt bad that 2 better sides were gonna lose 2 weeks in a row.

Or, saw Walsh carrying on like a pork chop and wanted some karma.

Walsh at his best is very exciting and if he can mature to pick his moments and not go Hail Mary every play and try his luck at quarterback every other pass; he will be hard to contain.

He’s on a bit of a slippery slope though. He’s toeing the line of player of the people/fan favourite and spoilt brat.

That could have been Joash Papalii’s career there last night. Would’ve been a confidence breaker for weeks.

Geez Moses gets some distance on his kicks.

You need a long kicking game in the vlandysball era or you're pushing **** uphill with a stick. Cheat code. I remember Ryles was almost giddy talking about Moses' kicking when he returned mid-season. Kicks it 20m further than anyone at the club was his comment.

I don't want this to turn into a Dylan Brown thing but Moses is worth maybe 6 wins a year to the Eels?
Like they go from a spoon contender to almost top 8 side if he's there the whole season right.

NSW also win origin if he doesn't get hurt.

Loz still finds a way to lose it.

It's frustrating that for some bizarre reason NSWRL made the mistake of going back to a failed coach who isn't a coach, who didn't spend any time coaching between the time he was sacked and the time they reappointed him and they refused to acknowledge it despite the disaster.

It wasn't just that Slater coached rings around him, Loz even with Bellamy's support made huge mistakes in selection and tactics but NSWRL are determined to see out his contract.

And it's almost worse for NSW fans if Loz somehow scrapes a win in 2026 only to get extended and NSW to potentially go on another 1 win and 4 series loses run as they did under Daley last time despite having the "best team on paper".

I can understand the bloke wanting redemption, but I lost a lot of respect for Daley who I was a big fan of as a kid, campaigning for the NSW job seemingly having done nothing to prepare himself to change what happened last time.
