That’s a bizarre call. Not only was there no compelling footage of the Cows grounding it, but I’m really not sure how it could be said Jesse didn’t? It’s not like scoring a try where it matters if there’s separation before the ball touches the ground. Her hand just needs to push on the ball while it’s on the ground, which it did.

It didn't look like it last week, but a lot of those girls are a lot fitter than last year - nearly all of them in fact.
Jefferies might have over trained them for last week and they ran out of gas halfway through the game.
This week they were way too fit for the Cowboys, who looked pretty fit last week against the Titans.

Thought Kirkpatrick did a great job subbing in as a 9 when Liv was off.
Not sure why Kukutai is getting so few minutes. Thought Yeo and Karpani did great job in the middle once they were on.
Use Predebon in shorter stints for impact, she shouldn’t be playing 44 mins.
Think White needs a spell in reserves to get some confidence back.
Attack definitely still needs work but they looked a lot more like themselves the longer the game went on.

Pretty well spot on with what I was thinking. They looked very composed in this game, if they can cut out the
Errors it’ll help with them wearing themselves out.

To the fact dogs scored a could lucky tries off bounces that we would have been closer to winning. Dogs weren’t really that impressive. Just powerful.
Highins huge difference at 9. Very crisp service gave Jesse more time to work with. Whilst general ball play is still a bit poor, thought we were well in control in that game.
If Tess Staines plays well tomorrow I’d spell Lilly out for sure. Love Lilly but she has t grown into NRLW well.
Jesse said she didn't know you could ground the ball with your torso when she was interviewed, so much for going with the onfield decision.
