NRL Round 22 - Panthers V Knights - 2:00pm Sunday 4 August - BlueBet Stadium, Penrith

Jesus Christ he has no idea what he’s doing does he?

Phoenix who they’ve already long ago determined isn’t a half. Has been playing hooker and lock now gets thrown in a halfback against the Panthers of all teams. What are they trying to do to the kid?

Why not just play Gamble at half and Pryce at 6? Or Cogger (Shudder) and Gamble if they have to drop Hastings.

Look forward to end of the year when he blames “injury” for all these different spine combos, when in reality he’s voluntarily done this to himself.

@Junior_rep has any of the "playing group being off the coach" stuff been addressed internally or are we just pouring fuel on that fire with todays drama? And whats your whole take on this sinking ship?

I would probably say the ship has sunk.
And it’s time to repair and fix.
Hence why Sullivan has come in and is doing his job.

This season just hasn’t been any where near where we should be ladder wise and performance.

Don’t get me wrong there has been some great signs this year although the bad has outweighed the good only in my opinion.

Really hoping Crossland comes out and kills it!! Being realistic he won't look good because our fowards won't create the time and space he will need to perform well and he hasnt played 7 in a long time but I'll looking foward to seeing how he goes in the 7 again.

Can't help but notice that this coincides with Troy Pezet publicly giving his blessing for Jonah to come back. I suppose that makes the club not worry so much about hanging onto Jackson due to the "who else are we going to be able to sign?" factor.
Toohey said that conversation with Pezet happened when the Storm were in town for the round 3 game, so almost 5 months ago at this point. It seems like they're confident in signing him but don't think there's a correlation with Hastings getting dropped now.

I'm all for the changes but it's just so strange to start making big changes when we are still a chance of making the 8.
Yes I know we probably won't make it but we are still a chance.
The season was probably done but this will definitely derail it completely.
I wonder what Ponga has to say about this, as captain and as our 1 and only attacking player he surely has some kind of say.

I can't even think who the 14 will be.
Will Pryce can't play hooker
O'Brien loves Sharpe, but he can't play hooker
Riley Jones is on the **** list from all reports
Cogger had a few short runs at hooker at Penrith, but he wasn't great
Jacob Davis has been injured for weeks and I don't think he is ready to step up - he's just doing short spells off the bench in reserves

I'd go for Riley Jones, but he really seems to be out of favour.
