Knights land Peter O'Sullivan

Telegraph reporting Knights have beaten the Dragons to the signature of Peter O'Sullivan, long regarded as the best recruitment manager/talent scout in the comp. Says he's leaving the Dolphins immediately but not sure if that means he's starting here immediately.

Can he please bring Katoa here with him, immediately?

We will see how much power and pull he has at the club if either Cogger or Hastings are moved on and his son is starting halfback by next season

But if he lands juniors like he got the dolphins then they have a great crop of juniors they grabbed from other clubs

Our recruitment spot is still unfilled, so nothing stopping him getting an office and starting Monday morning.
In fact, Zammit made it clear that the job was travelling around watching junior games wherever they happen, so he's going to the Under 19s games next Thursday - the only change will be his accreditation will says Knights.
It probably doesn't matter where he lives, but you'd like to think he'll have a close look at all the hunter comps.

Michael Carayannis suggested on ABC that he took the more difficult role at the Knights. He said his job might be more about selling players than buying them.

Also suggested that Newcastle are keen on Blaize Talagi as a five-eighth.

His a diehard dragons fan so of course he said that.

I think he was more referring to the fact that the Dragons are cashed up and his role there would largely be to land some big fish, whereas our cap is much tighter and the job will be to rebalance the roster somewhat.

I know it’s easy to be negative on the club but we only really need to fill two or three positions to become a consistent finals team. I’d argue Dargons still need to rebuild their entire roster. They’re playing for their coach now but next year will be a different story. They need some serious recruitment.
