Yes this sort of stuff happens in the men’s game too but I think it’s particularly **** for the women because that $15k per game for Origin could really make a big difference for most of them given they already have to juggle work and footy.

Hard to argue against this lineup. Wonder what Taufa did to get on the **** list, she’s been a mainstay for so long and is still one of the best middles going.
Should definitely be Berry at fullback. Tonegato is a fine player but a fair bit of her value at fullback comes from her halves-like ball playing, has allowed her teams to get away with having limited halves. Not really a problem with two dominant halves in Southwell and Dibb & Berry’s running threat which is elite would be more valuable in this context.
That last prop on the bench isn’t going to play for very long. Grace Kemp is definitely the option there. Most likely to have big impact in only a few minutes.
For a potential bolter at 14 - Ebony Prior? Very nippy Tigers hooker. Doesn’t overplay her hand like Keeley Davis & IMO sometimes Dodd does. But yeah I think it’s pretty proven now that in the women’s game, your more robust and physical 9 like Higgins is just better even if she doesn’t look to have as refined a passing game.
