So 12 months on and time to spice up the forum for the off-season and throughout next season.

There was so many on here willing to take up a bet last year I wonder how many will be jumping to the front of the queue now.

I was offering a bet with my team coming off of 4 successive bottom 4 finishes with the Knights making the finals 2 years running. Roles are now reversed after 12 months.

I’m willing to bet there are a lot of Baker Mayfields (front runners + bottle it when under pressure) on here and not many willing to do business with Cowboyman.

Monetary - personal/charity, time off forum etc all on the table.

I bet that the Knights will finish higher than Cowboys next season. You obviously bet against that. As soon as round 25 ends the Loser of the bet will not be allowed to comment on the forum until round 1 of 2024.

Haha, well firstly I was not on the forum when this bet was thrown down. I may have taken that bet. But, now Brooks or no Brooks the chances of winning this bet would be slim to none.

Plus the roles are more reversed than last year. We were fringe top 8. Now the cows are a firm 8 top 4. You'd be a brave Knights supporter to take this bet on.

You never know cowboy man you might get some bites from some hardened Knight boys. I hope there's a miracle and you get put back in your place. 😂

So what you’re saying is you are a Baker Mayfield. May of taken the bet last year given the circumstances but sure as hell won’t this year.

Nah I’ve really gone off of cricket now. Was great growing up but it’s not cricket anymore with all this T20 BS.

The standard of cricket world wide is Sunday grade cricket standard as opposed to 15-20 years ago.

He truely is a horrible QB. Any half decent QB has no right to not succeed in that Browns side. They are going to be a serious threat when they get Watson starting.

I prefer test cricket, it is by far the best version of the game.

T20 is OK but it does get repetitive.

T20 is the pits and the downfall to a once great sport. The only time it was ever good was when no one took it seriously and had Joey playing for NSW.

Don't agree with you too much but dead right here , the standard and the spectacle that was Cricket is nowhere near what it was even 20 or 30 years ago .. I hardly watch it anymore except for the Aussie test's as i just can't stop altogether, as you know it's still cricket .
Maybe it's just me but imo the Cricket lost something when they started picking different team's for different forms of the game..
All of a sudden the guy's you loved watching playing for our country weren't. Not saying they didn't need to do that but for me the game lost something and its been the same since for me.
It's a bit the same for me with NRL i used to watch so many games beside's all the Knights game's but with all the rule change's, the whinging all the time by players, and a few other things i just can't watch it anymore imo the game has gone to sxxx.
The players now (and roast me all you want as i'm right so i dont care) are fitter than 25 yrs ago Yes (that's because today they are more athlete's than footy players) but they are pussy's compared to those guys..
Take Cleary a good player but imo Johns, Stuart and a few more Sxxx on Cleary and all other halves now from a great height and most forwards from now would go home crying to there Mummy's if they had to go against the forwards of yesteryear.
 
Cows is a man of his word, as someone who's lost a similar bet - to him, I have no doubt he'll stick to his words.
