Yeah that's probably how it goes down. It is annoying that you know it's just for the year and his mind is at the Dolphins, but we're in a crappy position at the moment. 4 spots to fill, no depth, but also going into an uncertain year where players could be missing all over the place. So stock up on as much first-grade talent as we can to try and win as many games as we can, or contend for a spoon.
 
Toohey is reporting two of the assault charges have been dropped, but there’s still a third pending assault charge before he is able to be signed on.
 
No chance milf walks in to a starting halves position.

He will start in reggies before maybe getting the bench utility spot.
 
Well if we have filled 3 spots with Millford for 150k, Lee and Thompson for about the same - we have 1 spot and the best part of a million to spend if past stories are true.

Hymel Hunt is 2" taller and 5 or 6 kg heavier than this guy and he's here... just saying lol.

Just a textbook example of sunk cost bias, so thanks for that.

The medical team clearly think he's fit enough to offer a contract to. He's a pretty good player if healthy. And it's obviously a cheap deal given it's only a one-year.

Gotta say, I’m shocked to see the guy who called me a “delicate little flower” over expressing discomfort about having a player accused of racial abuse in the team, getting mad about us re-signing an Indigenous player.

Well, maybe not that shocked… 😉

oh dear what a tool you are. I could not care less what color anyone is. I prefer a roster of players who spend the majority of the time contracted on the field.

As to Barnett or anyone for that matter it it is a shallow individual that would besmirch a character on an accusation. No matter who the person or what the accusation.

Grow up buddy - your a disgrace.

Disbelieving accusations of abuse in situations where there isn't 100% evidence is problematic. As centuries of racial and sexual abuse should tell you...

Back to the original point - we agree that players should spend the majority of their time on the field. That Eddy didn't during his previous contract isn't a valid argument that he wont over the course of this season.
 
What has this to do with race?

Please just get back to talking about footy. Drop it and move on, both of you as bad as the other.
I'm happy to see Edrick return, and I hope it works out well for him.

If he can stay fit then we have 3/5 of our backline ex/current QLD rep players (5 if you include Hymel Hunt who is injured at present)
