Knights 2022 Jersey

nib has done amazingly well in the time they have sponsered us.
They were a members co-operative when they first started with us, largely owned by members who had worked at the old BHP steelworks in Newcastle and were worth less than 100 million.
In 2007 they issued shares to all their members based on how long they had been enrolled and listed on the stock exchange for a market capitalisation of $442 million.
In the latest annual report they have a market capitalisation of over $3 Billion for the first time.
So in the 20+ years they have sponsered us, they have grown 30x larger as a company and have gone from a little Newcastle based business to spreading all across Australia and NZ.
 
Well you guys might have to follow Manly next season. Corporate sponsorship is critical and it is a local company supporting a local team. Not like our former sponsor Steggles and the chooks! 🐔🐔🐔

Yeah, couldn’t care less about the sponsor. If it pays the bills then it could be a pic of a dead goat for all I care.

Actually jersey design is horrible though.
 
This home jersey has to be a 1 year only kind of thing seeing as though nobody will want anything to do with it, no way we're keeping this for another 1 to 2 years.

It could well be the 01 jersey I just thought it looked different, maybe because of how the sponsors sit on the jersey but yeah bigger fan of that then that scrub of a thing up there. ^^^^^^^
 
As with every jersey, I'm sure it'll look better on a person than it does in a graphic design. They always look bad in digital form. I'm annoyed they changed it & it doesn't look good, but it'll probably end up looking not that far off what we already wear, just less stripes.

Might go for the hoody this year instead.

Last year’s home jersey and this year’s 2001 retro have got me covered for a while, both light years better than this.
 
Bedsy saying it's an updated version of the 1988 Jersey - with a chevron instead of a straight hoop.
I can see that, now that he says it.
 
Somehow the NIB logo actually looks better on our previous jerseys. This new and improved logo is not only disgusting but so unnecessarily large. I won’t be buying. Hopefully they take on their own fans feedback and improve on it next year.
