I think Brown is better suited to recruitment and roster management. He assembled a quality roster at the Dragons and now here, but I'm not convinced he knows how to use the team he puts together. That said, I don't think there's any point spearing Brown until a standout candidate is available. Brown can at least get the players here so coaching instability will only push players away. Griffin and Brennan are not first grade quality.

So the senior players approached Brown after the Titans loss and said things need to change on the field. Winning streak the result. Not defending Ramien 1 bit but again the senior players tell Brown he needs to do something. Who's coaching the team ?
We need a genuine 6 to help Pearce. Without that we will be the dregs we are now. We have go forward just crap plays now. Attacking players get crap service or put on the same crappy out the back play wide. We only attack one side so can't be to hard to defend that. We have gone away from starting with line speed and quickness around the ruck to be more Melbourne like with a titans roster................. It just won't work EVER!
I am sure senior players approach coaches all the time, lets not rattle the cage anymore than we need to.
Heard a rumor today brown is heading back to dragons
When is Flanagan available?
Apparently talked up our juniors. maybe a few more of them will get 11 minutes in a game somewhere down the track.Don't watch the garbage content on Foxsports but one of the headlines popped up on Brownie being on the show admitting he got it wrong when it came to his experienced/decision in resting/playing his Origin players. Guess it was a bit of an unexpected going from expecting two players to play to having several.
Watched it. He made a point about not wanting to blood them too early like he has with a number of other juniors during his tenure.Apparently talked up our juniors. maybe a few more of them will get 11 minutes in a game somewhere down the track.
True but Lamb and Cogger played behind a pop gun forward pack. Other Clubs don't seem to have much trouble giving young blokes a shot.Watched it. He made a point about not wanting to blood them too early like he has with a number of other juniors during his tenure.
Fair enough really, but now the season is done and the pressure off he should give a couple of them a run.
I don't see our juniors play but plenty want to wrap Huth. Wonder how he feels about Brown's history with hookers and the signing of Brailey. We certainly have plenty of talent in juniors and they don’t cost lots compared to buying experienced players, see no reason why Hoy, Crossland, Fermor, Andrews, Momoisea, Toa and Huth and I am sure quite a few others couldn’t develop over the next year or so playing Cant Cup and be ready for firsts.
