Nathan Brown discussion

This one basically talks about how Watson dropped the ball and didn't dive on it or chase the Titans and they scored. Brown has said he is sticking with his halves pairing and now they need to show the same faith back to Brown by having a crack and winning.

This next one talks about how Brown should still have a hope of finals footy this year. The finals are still reachable but this next game needs to be won. Only 2 sides in the NRL have ever made the finals after losing 6 of the 1st 7 games.

This is a ****ing disgrace. Round 7 and we are talking about if we can make the finals. We’ve had the easiest draw to start a season and have wasted it. The Watson incident looking around to blame someone for his mistake then they score is purely attitude. Look at Ramien take off before Watson and he was further away. They think they’re better players then what they are.
 
Ramien had come in looking for the ball and realised the play was going down his side and we were short due to him not being there. Hence his urgency.

A few times the ball got dropped and the team shut down, we paid the price. D SAFS was another one.

The way forward isn't to chop and change the spine constantly, pick and stick for a bit and see.

Brown often says that, but the fact is, he changes plans as often as he changes underwear.
We trained all off season with Ponga at 6 and Watson at 1.
I remember thinking that would take half a season before we started to see how well that would work.
That was plan A for this season.
After 6 rounds I think we are already working on plan F or G, and by kickoff on Sunday, we might have gone through the rest of the alphabet.
I half expect Lino to be fullback and Sione to be 5/8 by the end of the season - at least for 5 minutes in some game.
Remember when Kurt Mann was going to spend a long period playing hooker to learn the role? It's hard to remember that plan, because that was way back about 6 plans, or 3 weeks ago.
 
If Mann is seriously being looked at as hooker then he should have played it in reserves for a few weeks to see how he goes, get him used to it. Don’t like that we brought Watson in on a promise and now Mann for hooker, if they are good enough let’s play them in firsts or reserves to adjust but let’s see it happening.

Listen to Brown on The Herald who actually sees the players most days or guys like Kent/Buzz who have no clue what goes on at the Knights and who are known to literally make things up...tough choice

And just to prove his point bringing up the clubs tough stance on fines which is a bigger deterrent then anything

And that will be his downfall.

He now looks like he hasn't got a clue what to do to get the team firing.

As I posted in the game thread for titans, commentators are telling us Lino is dropped and Watson is playing 5/8 but on screen is Lino warming up and has the 6 on his back. Must have been a very late call and a big change to the spine swapping a ball playing 5/8 out for a ball runner in Watson.

What had they been training all week in prep for the game with Lino there for?

Never seen that before.

That convinced me Brown isn't the coach we need.
 
100%. Why would you fiddle with a spine position that late if you've been "working on" improving that area at training. Coached sure, coaching not so sure.
 
This dropped ball by Watson that they scored from is that the one where he turns to Levi and says What the xxxx was that because Levi threw the worst pass by any hooker ever . The same pass that the commentators said that was absolute rubbish from Levi .
Levi did a lot more than his fair share to lose us that game imo he looked like a park footy player at best and should not be in first grade this week .
I was a fan and thought he would be another Isaac Luke but to be honest after that game he isn't and never will be .
Imo he cost us that game more than anyone else , he stopped all our momentum and go forward ..
Get rid of him and buy a good seasoned hooker .

Watson needs to worry about where the ball went before giving his team mate a serve.

Well he has stuck with Danny long enough time to promote Woolford he certainly cant play any worse than Danny did in that game he was absolute crap .

Danny threw a pass that the kids in my u10 side would have been ashamed of and it was 1 of many Danny made Watson look bad and Watson wasn't the only one either ...
 
Why in going on 4 years hasn't Brown been working on a kicking game for Levi ? Actually forget I asked that question. I know the answer.

Do you teach your u10's to dive on a loose ball?
Would you be angry if they yelled at each other and let the other team score after a bad pass?
