I imagine most people applaud him when he plays well and question him when he plays bad.

Its a really tough gig mate.
Being a head coach of a club thats accepted average as a standard for a long time has the habits embedded in it.
We have a roster capable of great moments though kicking those habits is going to take time.

Tonight "should" of been a night the team come out like Tyson and beat the crap out of the Dragons, but they let the habits win the fight and the Dragons got the points.

On the plus side, being 1/3 with a -3 for and against is a very big improvement from the past 4yrs

I agree. But last year we didn’t have Klemmer, Glasby and Ramien hanging around playing with grass. I agree the team needs time to gel, but the way we have lost suggests it’s more than that. Hard for anyone to argue that at 1-3 we are on track. We are not on track and we are not playing well. Something isn’t right.

No were not on track that's what gelling as a team means , no we didn't have Klem and Glasby and Ramien and we haven't worked out how to use them properly on the field yet , that's also gelling as a team .
 
Feel a bit sorry for Lino - he obviously wasn't ready yet. Dan needed the run as well.
Levi wasn't running till the end of the game. I reckon Brown is already over Mann and Levi was told to play as many minutes as he could. I think we are better to have Levi playing 50 minutes and trying to run more.

Some of what we’ve seen over the past few weeks can not be so easily explained away as gelling as a team Brah. Some of it, but not most. Fingers crossed for a brighter future. We have our work cut out.

We won’t be anywhere near the spoon. Plenty of teams at the moment worse then us who have had softer draws against easy beat teams

Just a handful of dumb habits and being 5% off with intent was the difference.
It will come, I've expected it to take at least 1/3 of the year for us to get into gear, round 1 was just a dream result with our 17 being full of hunger to prove a point.

Bit of a drop in form ? He's been very ordinary in every game. He was great last year and got the wraps he deserved. Anyone who thinks Pearce is giving 100% is kidding. I don't want the bloke dropped I just want him to give his all.

I think having Lino Ponga and Pearce together in the same numbers for another week we should see a bit of improvement in fluency.
Still not a fan of some of the dumb **** Levi does offensively but he does everything else ok and plays hard and there is no one better until slade recovers so whatever
 
IMO our D and go forward has improved massively just really struggling in attack if we had scored 12 more points this season we could be sitting on 4 wins. Do not know whats up with pearce he seems to really be struggling . Not a fan of the amount of stuff the refs are letting go this year if there trying to let the game flow its not working.
 
Geez it's a feeding frenzy on here.

I said after last game we aren't saying with the right intensity. We are a good side playing like our crap old side.

This season the D has been better, attack struggled as ponga to 5/8 failed, then swap to fb and young replacement 5/8. No wonder our attack is off.

Pressure has to be mounting on Brown. He cant seem to motivate them to be up to get one over them.

Everyone at the goal line has been a bit poo today. Pearces long kicks have actually been excellent. It’s just that he gets remembered for the Frizzell strip or the poor fifth tackle options which are a combination of no one being on the same page the last few weeks

Other than the Cowboys and Titans, most teams have been playing well enough. Even those two teams, I can see us losing against if we decide to repeat tonight’s performance.

If you were coaching a junior side and the opposition's line speed was miles faster than yours what would you do ? If you had a V8 in the centers not getting the ball what would you do ? If you had Guerra and Sione in the team which one would start and which one would come off the bench ? If a forward had 1 of his best games for the Club coming off the bench why would you start him every week after that ? Let's email Brown the answers.
 
Not worried again spine no time together. Losing by tiny amounts to good teams. Said in the preseason lol at peoples melt downs especially for a team with many new faces on the improve.
