Dangerous tactic for him, I think he hasn’t shown too much to offer with his opportunities to date.

Does he have the same manager as Lamby ??
 
Maybe it’s our system that’s the problem? All these great prospects & hardly a star among them. On our junior base & potential within, we should be doing so much better than the frustrating train wreck we get to see most weeks.
These guys have potential but don’t seem to be doing anything with it, where I think in a different environment they’d be a great chance of kicking on.
Maybe these guys are testing the water for development rather than money as they aren’t improving with our system?
 
He's 20 years old.
Forum darling Fitzgibbon could barely get a run in reserve grade at 20 and had a hell of a lot more faults in his game than Denniss has now.
People love the idea of signing Hymel Hunt. At the age Denniss is now, Hunt had played 4 firstgrade games and been moved on by 2 clubs and had a 1 year second tier contract with his 3rd.
 
Barry Toohey confirmed on Twitter that Brock Lamb and Corey Dennis have the same manager. Makes complete sense now, he is a dreamer. Lamb would be spewing that he didnt that the $250k from us. Corey may have the same fate in front of him.
 
We should be keeping Cory but not going crazy. He is still a good prospect and although hasn't set the NRL on fire is a good depth backup.

I believe he is still a bit light for his frame and needs to put some more weight on his frame to make him a bit more of a threat
 
I wouldn't have had a problem keeping him he is still learning only just 21 and imo isn't nearly as bad as some say and I think he would go alright outside someone like Ramien ...

That’s true, although Lamb has every opportunity to play well and increase his value, so IMO both Lamb and his manager have cost themselves money.

Hahaha was literally about to ask if he has the same manager. Both of them need to get rid of him ASAP. He must be filling their heads with nonsense. Both are in no position to be knocking back offers and testing their worth.

Lamb looks to be losing 2-3 times the amount he was offered at the start of the year now.

I wonder how much Denniss will lose out because he certainly won’t be getting decent offers from rival clubs.
 
Our system ? How many juniors over the last say 15 years have gone on to play rep footy from our Club as compared to our juniors that end up at other clubs ? I have no idea but it seems more common that a Knights junior who makes the grade has done it from somewhere else.
