Maybe Ross for Denniss and Lamb for Cogger? Jack didn't offer much with his kicking game tonight.

Definitely need lamb purely for his kicking...cogger is rubbish and I am so glad the dogs are taking him. Never seen a so called halfback with no kicking game or passing game other than the most obvious short ball.
 
Lamb needed to have a good game in reserves to get his confidence back - a few more wouldn't hurt him in fact.
If Pearce and Ponga are OK for the next game we won't be needing him though.

I thought Ross would have a strong game in reserves. He always has a crack in those circumstances.
 
season is over novocastrians dont give a **** anyway they love mediocrity they hate change in there city so might as well give up there nrl licence to a place that cares

Seriously, take your opinion and just EAD.

All of the naysayers, good God. Relax, people. Did anyone not expect the Dogs to be riled up? With their club a mess and them being told that the Knights were favourites for this one, I’m sure that would be enough to get them firing. No excuses for us in that regard, but of course the Dogs were keen for a fight.

With Pearce, Pong, Griff, Twins etc playing, it may well have been a different result. Our team is adding depth and will improve again with recruitment over the offseason.

Think back to our floggings by Sharks, Bunnies, etc. Back then, I’d be thrilled at the thought of being 12-13 on the ladder currently.

Yeah, forgot that Pearce should be fit. If Ponga is out, Watson to fullback and Lamb to 6.

Mods etc. Please if i can be banned and rightfully so for swearing shouldn't anyone telling someone to EAD etc... also be banned... it seems anyone who has a negative opinion of the team can be abused personally and its ok... or call them names like dropkick etc. and to leave because they have an opinion that doesn't see the team in a positive way...

Doesnt seem to be fair if you ask me

Like I said: relax. Not sure how EAD (Eat A Donut) is inappropriate, but if it warrants a ban, then so be it.
 
It's the same thing every year. People getting upset with others for bagging the team and players when they're going ordinary. One can only control how one's self reacts. If Nickwpearce wants to give it to the team both barrells that's his perogative. It doesn't matter whether we agree or not. If people weren't passionate about our team no one would give a **** how pathetic we were. I personally am back to where I've been for the last 3 years ie expecting another wheel to fall off each week on the way to a beating.

Negative/honest/left wing/facts are more than expected and most can see where those posts come from.

Acting like a 6yr old that had the tv turned off on them and writing repulsive hatred comments on a regular bases is not something normal minded people stand to tolerate.

You clearly have personal issues of some degree, none of our business....
Though when your impulse posts start flooding a internet forum that has a wide band of age and genders! some self control and respect for others whom choose to visit this forum is commonsense mate.

I hated watching that game tonight... it was a train wreck! You cant beat bad luck and we copped a truckload tonight....

A lot of others calling us **** tonight, not just myself. I have high expectations and a short fuse...

But personally attacking someone for calling a team **** or a player **** and not first grade standard is pretty much the same as me overreacting to a game of footy.

Again there is an ignore button might be time to use it...

Tonights performance even under the circumstances was just really poor... god even our coach said before the match we are not a good team, just average...
 
I didn't understand how we were considered favorites, yeah dogs have lost a few players and they have a few young players move into their squad, but we have a heap of young players in ours some of which are not really NRL level players.

The dogs forward pack is much better than ours and they have a more experienced backline. The one thing we had as an advantage is the Ponga factor and unfortunately that ended early.

What's the thinking behind Pongas injury? Is it long term, he did seem to be walking afterwards.

I reckon it’s a workload injury short term!! Physio friend thinks same grade 1 2/3 weeks

It's hard to say because we've never seen him get injured before.
The way he reacted seemed to say it's very minor, but some guys get major injuries and don't make a big deal of them, like Jacob Saifiti basically had a shattered shoulder and reacted like it was a bit of an ouchie.
