Off contract options

Sounds like Sharkies are looking to offload Feki to make room for Woods before June 30... He would be a nice addition

If we don't really need Feki why make it easy for them by helping out, ant exchange before 30 June should be to our benefit especially with a potential wooden spoon side, look after ourselves.

Geez when we went after Prior last time half the people on here called him a plod and didn't want him even though he was starting prop for the sharks I got all but called an idiot for wanting him ...Now he is about to play SOO ...

I mentioned him because we need props badly and the Sharks need to relive some cap space.
I dont really rate him that highly but he would improve our pack.

Prior is very underrated. Plays with great energy and is a strong defender. His line speed is amazing. Really helps sets the tempo for that Cronulla team.

James has been robbed and not dissing prior.

I would have picked James too, but the reason I heard was because of Prior's big game experience in finals & GFs in the past, so Freddy knows he can do a job & won't be overawed, whereas James would be a rookie coming in with not a lot of big game experience.

Easy to do behind Gal and Fifita.

They have nothing to do with the high energy he plays with, his strong defence or his incredible line speed. He’s one that sets the tone for them defensively. One of the best in the game at that IMO. He’s been very underrated the past few years now. One of the unsung hero’s for the Sharks. Never expected he’d get an Origin appearance but. If I had one game to win, I’d pick Prior over James, and that’s what this is about.

Well we will see how he goes!

He’s no world beater, but he goes good. I reckon he’s a guy you’d love if he played for your team, and I reckon his teammates/coaches would love him too. A real unheralded player who just goes about his business. Plays with high energy and tremendous line speed, something Newcastle have lacked for many seasons now, so I really admire it.

He won the player of the year award for Cronulla back in 2016 when they won the Grand Final. That’s massive considering he’s a no name who gets no attention. Thought he was one of their most consistent last year too, and is having another strong season this year. He does a lot for them, just not the highlight barnstorming runs like Fifita for example. More immeasurable things that don’t show up on the stat sheet.
