Was obvious sarcasm. Cowboys won't be interested in Lamb. We have TMM already with Clifford waiting in the wings. Last year's U20's player of the year for the whole comp.

I forgot about TMM, it'll be interesting to see how Green uses him this year with JT back.

Yeah... I'd be surprised if he does, I'm still betting on him going to 5/8 and Watson moving to the bench... I was re-watching the game and it seemed like we were a bit faster with Watson at hooker...though that might be because Manly was tired...

We’re eventually going to lose one of Lamb, Watson or Levi. Can’t keep them all. They’re all first grade quality players who are young with upside. Whoever is left out of the 17 will be champing at the bit to go elsewhere for an opportunity, which they’ll most certainly get at another club.

So the assumption there is that Griffin stays at starting hooker. I'm not disagreeing with you I just think it's possible that Griffin moves into the backrow at some point this season if Levi performs...

If send Griffin to back row to accommodate Levi then you have a smaller pack, already Buhrer is being said to lack size and doubts he will be in first 17, can't afford one let alone 2 small forwards. At this time, form on board, Griffin or Levi 9 or reserves, with Watson and Lamb 6 or 14 with 3 big Fwds on bench, sorry for Buhrer.
 
Injuries will settle all these problems by mid season.
We are trying to shoehorn 20 players who deserve to be in firstgrade into the 17, but by midseason we'll be searching for someone to fill gaps as we pick up 4 or 5 injuries.

Browny brought Nugget here to be the starting rake for his commitment, strength and tackling ability. He coached him at the Storm and is more than aware of his capabilities.
 
Griffin wants to play 80 min and says he can do it , if he can and plays like he did for the 80 and improves like they all should with Lamb to 6 and Watson to 14 we may never see Levi in 1st grade again .
Even if Griffin doesn't play 80 with Watson on the bench Levi could be finished here , not saying that's how it will be and i hope its not but it is a possibility .
 
If the dummy half can play for 80 minutes gives the bench a huge boost fitting another big body there. That I believe is the ultimate goal and as good as Danny is, I cannot see him ever making 80 minutes with his back problems which never go away completely even with surgery.
 
Who needs a hooker? We need a centre, I’m sure some arrangements can be made. Levi will be wanting out soon.
 
I'm still willing to give Sione time at centre nothing says he wont go well there after all he has had 1 game there and we won ..

We still need another nrl level centre, if we have the cash, mite as well spend it if a player worth having is available.
Nadan is ok back up, so is Sio, though we are still short a centre this yr imo.

Dennis is a big boy and has been playing centre too and Pythian although a Half , 5/8, F/back could play centre easy imo and would have a kicking game too ....
