He just blatantly misunderstood my post. That's why i was confused at what he was even asking me

Its easy to sell snow at Thredo during summer, Packo!

There is an element of that. But its also true that we've seen what Lamb can bring and we've seen Watson play along side Pearce behind a domiant pack

So its not as though there is zero capacity to judge what they may be like. But definitely agree that anything could happen in the first month or two

But to pretend like there is absolutely no data from which to make some preliminary judgment on how each player may uniquely impact this new team, is absolutely ridiculous..

Johns, Bedsy and more have said they believe Lamb is the best fit at 6. They could well be wrong. That's not the point. The point is that they're making their judgements on good information. Information which you seem to be suggesting does not exist

That being said. I reckon Brown is best positioned to know who's best for the 5/8th role, and so far he's picked Watson.. So lets see how things go

Watson could absolutely kill it if things go right
 
Its a style that we have the right spine for. It remains to be seen whether our forwards can win through the middle. But if they can then we will be scoring some serious tries

I think we will have a tactical advantage over teams that we've previously made a habit of losing to, like Manly for instance. They have a relatively weak forward pack imo. So if we can get them on the back foot, Ponga and Watson should really cut them to pieces on the edges with a bit of space
 
Yeah I tend to think our pack has a slight advantage over theirs. And especially at home with a lot to prove, the conditions are looking favourable for our team to put their best foot forward and showcase their ideal brand
