Joey Leilua

He didnt want to be here during the tough times so we dont want him now. Well thats my opinion at least. Not that the next yr or 2 wont be tough...

Wrong, he was told he wasn't going to be offered a contract for next season so he left early as he considered himself to be one of our form players...

He came back from the off-season massively overweight, was told by Rick Stone that he wouldn't be in first grade if he wasn't in shape, and instead of working hard he threw a tantrum.

And yet was picked every week until we let him go halfway through the year. I was a massive Stone fan, but that was the final straw for me.

I would prefer not to take Leilua back, just because he was a piece of **** in the way he left the club, but if it does somehow eventuate then I will put my confidence into Brown to whip the fat prick into shape & get him playing well.

He falls into the same category as Dave Taylor, Tony Williams and now Jarryd Hayne. Plenty of potential and ability, but zero desire or mongrel, well at least being able to maintain it.

We do need a good centre.
But I'm not convinced its Joey.
I think If Seone has a big off season and works on his speed he can do the job.
There's no one else on the market.

Whether we get him or not...(i don't care either way) he is a monster at centre and can win games for you and I haven't heard off him being an idiot in Canberra , so maybe a hard determined coach can keep him on the straight and narrow .....Ponga , Ross , Moga , Leilua , Skd that's a backline that could hurt a lot of teams ...

I just watched Joey Tapine score a try and it was pretty good I wish we had tried to keep him.

We did try and keep him. Canberra's offer was too good to refuse.

Had him for another season until him and bjl started acting up.

Thinking about it Canberra has priors remember that islander front rower played up at parra to get off a year early as well.

Someone quizzed barry toohey on twitter in regards to sione. He essentially said sione will be in the side and is not likely to move back into the backline
