Rumour: Adam Blair to the Knights

Has a lot of experience, premiership winner and represented NZ, but worried what happened at the Tigers. Would pick him up on a 1 year deal at most.

Why Blair again?
 
Jeremy Smith has tried luring him to Newcastle. Had dinner with him and his family while he was down during the meeting and says Blair doesn't seem all that keen on going back to NZ. Could be between us and the Dragons.

Will be a good pick up if we get him. That would just about be our forward pack complete... and not a bad looking pack at that.
 
I'll be slightly disappointed if he's our highest profile forward signing. I can respect the argument that he can bring something to the side that stats don't record, but I was just hoping for that 1 high profile metre eater like Graham to really change the dynamics of our side. Looks like we might be settling for Blair, Ese'ese & the Saifitis.

Not sure how that is settling . If you had of said we'd have that pack at the start of this year everyone would of jumped at it. Blair adds something the others don't have. We have plenty of meter eaters it wasn't what was needed. We needed an enforcer and I don't think graham fits that bill
 
I'll take anyone who will improve the side, running out of options if Graham's gone, at this time Blair looks our best option, others may fit us better but not as good a player, Ideally get Blair and one other prop, good bench player and we have options in case of injury, form etc and let coach sort out the problems of shortcomings if any.
