Official: Knights sign Kalyn Ponga on a 4 year deal

You are on the slide.

Thats my oppinion like it or lump it.

Your opinion is wrong in my opinion.

There have been no signs of the players losing any form from where they were a month ago.

Only thing holding them back is by playing with 15 men for 70+ minutes against the top team in the comp and then back it up by playing with 15 mean again for just over half a game as well as having another 2 go off for HIA tests during the game. Not to mention the 2 guys going off injured were both backs with a 4 forward bench rotation on the last game as well.

We have all been down that path, play a back on the bench, don't play injured players, take what you've got and stop whinging.

Morgan and O'Neill weren't injured heading into last week's game... Same with Cooper and Winterstein in the Storm game. So not sure what you're saying by "don't play injured players"?...

Can't help injuries and not whinging at all. Actually very proud of the side for how well they handled and fought in both games.

Just stating facts. No injuries we win both of those games in my opinion.

Hence not being a side on the slide form wise just being destroyed by injuries. We finish the game with 17 fit players we win this week.

For what it's worth I'm thinking it's a high possibility that Ponga plays fullback this week as well. Will see if he has sorted his defensive problems as well as the high ball deficiencies that he had earlier in the year.

And lose all the others when opposition loses players, like I said, down that track, works both ways.

Okay that's enough

I don't want to close the thread because Kalyn is one of the most exciting signings we have ever made imo and I love hearing everyone's thoughts on him and his performances etc

Stop turning into a slanging match, Any further posts that are pointless arguing and sniping will be deleted

Thanks Guys

Just come along and throw ur weight around then :giggle:

Enari Tuala not playing in the 20's. Looking likely of seeing Ponga at fullback. Interesting to see if he has fixed up his defensive flaws from earlier in the year.

Coote not named but Ponga not starting at fullback. Will see him spend time there while Hampton shifts to hooker for Granvilles spell.
