Was someone suggesting signing Dave Taylor on here a few weeks back? He's playing bloody well tonight, throwing him a 1 year minimum wage contract wouldn't be the worst idea. Little risk and a chance of a decent reward.

Was thinking the same thing,

Had 6 runs for 62 meters at half time.... man is a tank.

If Buhrer plays 80 minutes you might as well get Levi to play 80 minutes at hooker - either way you don't get a fresh hooker when we need one.

What are peoples thoughts on what a successful season will be next year? Brown will pretty much have his roster, no salary cap/inexperienced excuses anymore. Is anything less than a top 8 enough for him to get a new deal?

I'd go 8 wins for a new deal. Looking at 8 wins with no context you wouldn't be happy, but for us it would mean we've improved significantly from this year & hopefully more improvement to come the following year.

It will still have a lot of young players and be a new team 12th and up would be a bonus I think then top 8 in 2019.

Id wait to see how where doing after 10rds before making a real judgment on our coaching future.

But ill still comment on things at present.

Top 8 for him to stay anything under 50% win ratio time to move on.

Yeah we've had 3 wins in the last 2 seasons, we can't expect them to be a finals team, click & know how to win overnight. 8 wins is a 400% improvement on 2017, granted it's not hard to improve on 2 wins.
