I don't understand how Watson is any better then the halves we currently have? He is young and inexperienced which is exactly what we have right now.
 
I still thin Watson is the 3rd hooker we need to sign - a direct replacement for Kosjaysyn. All the talk of him being given the 6 jersey doesn't add up.
 
Happy, very, with new signings including Watson, half or hooker, it will improve the squad overall, if no other signings is still lot better than this year.
No player has a guarantee to any position or grade, they perform they get picked in whatever position the coach decides will best suit the team.
Would like to think that those spending the money have an eye for talent/ability.
Yes more signings PLEASE, at least one well experienced prop

Massoud is right that the tigers have offered him better coin, but at this very moment watson will be a knight in 2018. Things can quickly change though as its still in the cooling off period. Connor signed on monday the 19th of July.

Ese'ese and moga will be announced as soon as next week as they both signed on friday. Also expect SKD announcement as soon as Wednesday.

Only Kostjaysyn isn't on Watson money. I reckon Watson is our 6 or 9. Surely we're not in a position to pay $400k for a 14.

A quality 14 is worth that. There to fill any position due to injury or come on as an impact player.
