GRAHAM TO LEAVE BULLDOGS

It is no secret the Canterbury Bulldogs won't be able to offer current captain a competitive contract beyond next year.

Incoming prop Aaron Woods is a straight replacement for the yet to be confirmed departing Englishman.

After initial interest from the Tigers, Souths and the Sharks it is now believed only the Newcastle Knights have tabled an offer.

With Graham's desire to continue playing in the NRL it is this offer from Knights coach Nathan Brown that he is believed to have taken up.

Expect an announcement before the end of the month.

taken from a rumours page on facebook so prob no truth to it.

And along comes a raging boner!!!

Yep

Toohey says lurker article re Graham is rubbish

And just like losing your virginty, the excitement is all over before you get to enjoy it...

I find it hard to believe Tigers, Souths and Sharks all pulled their offer off the table.

I find it hard to believe you have something negative to say about the knights...

You do realise he is due around 1M a year next year due to a back ended contract...

Maybe the Tigers/Sharks/Rabbits can't or aren't willing to fork that cash out.

Not hard to believe.

Oh, and at no stage does it say they even made an offer. They showed interest until finding out about the asking price.

88 setting yourself up for a big fall here. You better go and personally get this deal done yourself. Won't be able to show your face on this forum if it doesn't come off.

According to media yes he is due that amount. Doesn't mean said clubs have to take it all. Can easily negotiate with the Dogs and only pay 3 quarters of that for example. Especially if Graham doesn't want to come to Knights and stay in Sydney. Dogs will have no choice if they are that desperate to shift him on.

Hello from the Warriors. Tui Lolohea has been advised he can talk to other clubs, also a possible early release. All the potential but doesn't commit on defence, he admits himself he is a comfort zone here and needs a change. Our club hasn't helped his development either. Like most clubs we have a lot off contract and word is a lot won't be offered contracts, Kearney isn't stuffing around. Could be a good fit for you blokes.

We suspect Packer will end up at the Tigers, he was Coached by Cleary to a GF and is great mates with Matulino. Ben hasn't really been happy since Packer was shown the door here.

Foran to the Dogs isn't the done deal the Sydney press like to think, for starters how can they afford it (joke). You guys are like us, other clubs cheat like hell, but are not picked up because the NRL can't find it's own bum with both hands. We are a lot more confident of retaining him than a Month ago.

I suspect there will be so much horse trading a lot of clubs will outsmart themselves and there will be some reasonable talent going for sensible money once the dust settles.

Foran to the dogs is plausible if they offload several players and it's probably the only viable option left so he could probably take a lesser offer cause of the lack of supply and demand for him due to his situation.

I'm not sure why you're thinking up these theories. I understand how contract negotiations work.

But if you want to take any oppurtunity to be pessimistic about the knights, at least comprehend the information right first.

You replied "I find it hard to believe that the tigers, souths and sharks all pulled their offer off the table" to a rumour post saying "it is believed only the newcastle knights have tabled an offer".

No need to get your knickers in a knot.

One misread post shoot me now.

What an earth are cowboys going to do with Lolohea. Probably still won't release Ponga if they got him.

Could be a good replacement for Ponga's role in the team 2018-onwards though. He'll get snapped up by someone else before then otherwise.
