Sydney is bigger and the higher amount of players are actually from Sydney compared to Newy. Plus if you're a Single, famous athlete & have plenty of money the Eastern Suberbs is the place to be .......

That all depends what you consider "work" is. Sure it won't win you a comp but it will allow you to build a solid platform to then build on by growing our juniors or signing this top class players. I certainly would love to sign these top players like Foran and Graham but I just can't see it happening until we already have a competitive team in place first.
 
You have to wonder if injuries and mullo had not savaged us and Mullo being a c if we had realistically 5 wins instead of 1 how we would have gone on the market.

Atm im trying very hard not to lose my ship but im utterly frustrated with the nrl and the knights.

For 6mths we have dipped our toes in on every named nrl player and got none!!

The tigers pull there deals for woods and teddy off the table and within the same week they sign McQueen, Matulino, Reynolds...

I was told the other day our biggest problem has been the NRLs slow process of dealing with any contracts we have had to forwarded them as there our current owners, some of the players we targeted go sick of the waiting game or had new offers turn up and we missed out.

The nrl are using us as a bargain tool for either moving to QLD or selling at a ridiculous price to make a profit.... this is unethical and disrespectful to the club/fans/region and is now starting to hurt there image with a 16 team comp with only 15 competitive teams.

At the point of walking away from the game in general.

Paul Kent said on NRL 360 that the Knights biggest problem is that can't be 'flexible' with any third parties because it's dealt with directly with the NRL, basically implying that other clubs set up TPA's on the dodge while we don't get any at all

If that's true (sounds likely) then they are shooting theirselves in the foot. Devaluing the very thing they are trying to sell.

Aaarrrggghhh!!!! :(
