I'd like to see Chanel in the side because he is in career best form right now and he is more than ready for firstgrade, but i still think he is a natural winger, nearly as good as Uate as a tryscorer, and only a half decent centre.

On the other hand, Pat is a natural centre who showed some silky skills to set up his winger last week, and if he has finally got his mobility back, he is a punishing defender.

Just send everyone with a niggle off for surgery and throw all the rookies in. They're going to be all we have next year and the only way they're going to get any better is with experience. Their confidence can't be hit any worse. I'd certainly be swapping McManus and Sione in defence though.

**** Houston and Fa'alogo off for good. Being experienced should only help you stay in the side if it's actually helping the team. I even thought Newton offers more based on last night's game.

The logic is that this season is over & we should be looking to the future now & trying to offload guys we don't need before next season. Of course though McManus is in the Knights' plans for next year because he's a young Origin winger with a bright future & many years to come. If we were a smart organization we'd be shopping him around right now & freeing up money to spend somewhere we actually need it, like a halfback.

Sione is simply not up to playing first grade at this stage. His defence is horrible and attack not much better. Keeping him in first grade at this stage could be quite detrimental. He should be the first player dropped.

So Sione gets to keep his spot but McManus doesn't. What's the logic behind that one?

Sione just needs time , it takes time in the top grade before you are really comfortable and start killing it , unfortunately McManus is going backwards with his career . We need to shop him around now while he still has some currency

If Sione is dropped and either Mullen or Roberts or both are back, i'd be tempted to give Carlos a game in the centres.
Carlos scored two good tries when he had a run at centre in NSW cup and looked really flash, and I think he is a guy we should keep in the firstgrade squad if we can. He needs firstgrade experience - he only has 10 or 11 games up - and he could be a big part of our squad next year, so the more games we can give him the better.

Tuimavave will never be a gun FG'r, and he shouldn't be playing in the centre's

All we should ask of him is to become solid back up in the halves for times when our first choice players are injured. He isn't a FG regular, nor does he have the potential to be the type of player who can carry a team - precisely the type of player we need and don't yet have

Tuimavave's last game for the Warriors was in the centres (albeit out of position) and he got an absolute bath. He was trialled there for a few games. If Sione is struggling there I'm not sure Tui will go much better.

He is a rookie.
People talk about him like he is an established firstgrader who has shown all he has to offer and has been found wanting.
For us, he worked really hard in the off season and was one of the best trainers at the club.
He has put in half a season of reserve grade and has worked on all his skills and got better and better every game, and now he has moved to firstgrade and is also proving himself to be a guy who works hard and is getting better every game.
I don't know what happened at the Warriors, and it's largely irrelevant really.
He is a good athlete who seems to be doing everything right in his time at the Knights.
He had 7 games of firstgrade for the Warriors in 3 different positions, and who knows if he was prepared well for those games, but we do know he has done everything asked of him here and has done the job for us so far.

I don't have a perfect memory of his game at centre for the Warriors, but I thought he was ok. I remember he scored a try and got a broken nose in the process.
