It's only a rumour at this stage and not officially confirmed but apparently Richie Fa'aoso is under consideration to replace Dave Taylor on the bench for Qld in the event Taylor is suspended.

I didn't even know he was eligible for Qld but it will be interesting to see if he is chosen, his form has certainly merited rep consideration.
 
Would love to see him out there in Origin, but QLD would have to be pushing it to get him in the squad this early. He did only play for Tonga just last year & i think in the current rules you have to wait 2 years when changing allegiences before you can play for that new country. Aku got in for NSW somehow before that though, so who knows. I really hope Faas gets a call up! :)
 
Shillington's out injured and IMO, Richie > Lillyman.

I'd love to see him get a run!
 
It seems my source was incorrect, he's not eligible as he was in the 2009 Tonga Pacific Cup squad (which was in October) so he would have to wait until at least November this year before playing for Qld/Australia.
 
Although i hate QLD with a passion, i would love to see Richie play for them. It would be such a confidence builder for him. If he was selected he wouldn't let them down and would always give 100%
 
He was on the cusp a few years back and made the emerging QLD squad in 09 I think.

He also played for Tonga in the 08 WC and last years four nations curtain raisers though so not sure how he is still eligible.

He has 10x better ball control this year, it's great to see.
 
He has been quite impressive this year, wouldn't be dissapointed if he was selected in the years to come!

Definately deserved.
