Think I read a couple of days ago Bailey took a paycut for the next two seasons to wind down his career.

Another major signing and it would begin to ring alarm bells though for sure.

I completely agree with Alicia and Sammy, what I said in earlier posts wasn't meant to be all that negative I was just expressing my disappointment. Im sure Im not the only one who was expecting stars to line up at the gates, that was one of the most raved about benefits of WB coming and now look where we are, these same stars who we expected to be in the red and blue next year are now signed on to other clubs, we have all this money and noone worthy to give it to.

I have 100% faith in Bennett and what he's going to achieve here, I still cant get over the fact we've got him but my disappointment has nothing to do with that. I guess I was getting my hopes up too high, after weeks and even months of hearing how close we are to signing players and how lethal our team is going to be, then getting told we've missed out and there's basically noone left of the same calibre its a bit of a bitter pill to swallow, for me anyway.

Whatever Wayne does I have complete confidence it's the right thing but for once in my life as a Knights fan I wanted us to have an impressive recruitment drive that others can be jealous of haha I'll be over the moon and completely satisfied if we get Boyd
 
I honestly don't really mind if we don't get any more big names, although another one would be nice, I'm happy to see Bennett go after some lower profile guys like he did at the Dragons e.g. Soward, Weyman, Smith, Costigan etct who turned out to be stars

I'm just stoked we have Wayne Bennett and Kade Snowden already

Exactly, if you told me we'd have these two in 2012 this time last year I would have tracked you down and probably slapped you.

We've come along way already. Anything else should be a bonus.

Will be very interesting to see how they go without Bennett. If they cant play without Bennnett coaching wouldnt help the team in the long term. Origin will be a good indicator.
