Yer it kind of ruins the momentum when you bring someone else on at hooker. Sure if you're down and need something new bring in someone else, but not when you're leading
 
The crowd loves Tongue so much, I was having a field day sitting in the middle of them when he dropped that pass :lol:
 
What? I thought Tongue was outstanding, he looked very dangerous. He performed better than Buttriss IMO but the i guess i have to admit the Raiders were playing better as a team when Buttriss was on. However the Knights were playing pretty crap in the first half. I literally thought the Raiders looked way more dangerous when Tongue was on.
 
we no longer throw the game away the game if we get behind on the score board. I'm loving it. i want to rub our whole teams nipples
 
We went within 2 points of the Dragons (20-6 after 43min), were within 8 points with 5min left against the Sea-Eagles despite having the cruelest luck (20-6 after 43min), and were within a try for the majority of the Broncos game despite having 3 tries disallowed.

Atthemost was just saying that we dont cave in like knights sides of old, where we would have had 40-50 put on us. We have been in every game this year except the Manly game for obvious reasons. A lot of that has to do with the sides willingness to play the full 80 full throttle instead of the 60 or so minutes they played last year.

We havent thrown a game away this year, we have won all the games we should have, and put up valient efforts in all 3 losses. A bit different from last year when we were 2-5 or whatever it was last year.
 
Not a bad game. Missed the put down to the last try. Most likely due to over excitement & a couple of drinks lol.

Was a decent atmosphere too had all the knights fans grouped up since tinkler got some of us Knights fans free entry.

nah not really, I dont think the stadium acoustics would project sound from that corner my way though. I had the entire Meninga stand (95% Raiders) making noise.
 
I thought it was a great effort by the boys to finally win after being behind at half time. Defence was solid and not too much dropped balls, penalties were fairly even so can't complain there and the raiders tries could really be put down to luck.

I'd be inclined to stay with the same team for next week but maybe put Richie back to the bench so he can have a bit more impact. Really impressed by Roberts, going to be even more of a selection dilemma for Stone when Henry comes back.

If i were a canberra fan I would say we lost because of a ref decision. I can see where they're coming from. We were lucky to win, i'm under no impressions. That being said though, you have to put yourself in that position to win.
