Aside from Thurston and Tonga they really haven't got anyone.

Could easily afford Tate particularly if O'Donnell is leaving.
 
Retaining Thurston ate up a large portion of their salary cap. And they have more then just thurston and Tonga.

I wouldnt be suprised if Tate goes back to the Broncos.
 
Who else do they have besides Thurston and Tonga that would be on a large salary ?

Also, Trent Barrett = retiring, pretty much expected though
 
Still my point stands, at most three players asking for a fair bit of coin, definitely could afford Tate.
 
There's still the fact that Thurston is on nearly 700k, Tonga, Bowen, Payne, Williams, Southern, Mason will be asking for 300k+, Scott, Bolton etc etc.

I want to know how the tigers can all these big names under their cap and we cant i think you will find they might be over the cap. look at the players they have lote would be on aleast 400000 a year marshell on 450000 and robbie farah would be on a simler amount how can they have all these supor stars and we cant like who wants to play for the tigers.

Not a great signing but by the looks of things and broncos signing players constantly, maybe Folau is leaving after all?
