Simi Sasagi has damaged his shoulder and has had a full reconstruction.
Article in the Herald says he is out for 1/3 to 1/2 the season.

Someone said a few days ago that Paul Byran has "done his knee" and had an operation - no word on how bad it is.
 
Full reconstruction on a shoulder for an injury at the start of preseason?
Isn't the start of preseason all fitness?
 
I know there’s a lot that don’t rate him but I’m truly disappointed I was hoping he’d come out and brain it for us to start next year/in the trials.
 
Didn't Brailey injure himself in Pre season training last year. Sort of makes you wonder what is going on as it doesn't seem to be an issue at other clubs

Needled up to hell, a high grade AC joint injury is normally 3 months+ recovery.

I suspect some smoke and mirrors being played here. It's either not as bad as they say or he's at long odds to play next week

Cameron Smith played through one his entire final season and he was making 40+ tackles a game. It hurts but NRL players are tough.
