I to am a bit disappointed but coach wasn't happy with him apparently and if his game isn't top notch he is too small to retain, thought he might have been kept instead of Heighinton.
 
What is heighington doing wrong that I am missing? Seems like a lot want him dropped for some reason.

I thought he actually gave us some much needed enthusiasm and go forward when he came on last week. Plays short minutes but we are getting quality and experience.

J saf in for Yates for size and I reckon Lillyman will come in for king
 
At present Yates is our only enforcer because hits hard when he tackles. The only thing I could think of is that he is injured, on form he should be in our top 21 players.

I dare say Griffin will move to lock when Levi comes on at hooker, essentially taking Yates' minutes
 
Brown seems to be rotating the fringe middle forwards back to reserve grade to get some big minutes on the field.
Yates has not been getting a lot of minutes.
Jake Saifiti went back last week and played 56 minutes including the entire first half.
Lillyman played 60 minutes.
He has a bunch of middle forwards about the same level - he might as well use reserve grade to keep them all match fit.
 
Billy, I don't mind the tactic of letting them develop new skills in Reggies as long as they are applying themselves to the task, you can hide for 60mins in Reggies with out being found out and still look fresh , yet in the "Big league" there is nowhere to hide and if you try to hide the smart teams will work you out in 2 plays and send everything at you looking for a chink in the defensive armour or a moment of indecision to pounce.
 
I didn’t hear Brown say anything about Yates, only King and Watson. Yates needs more time out on the field because no matter how small he may be he stiffens up our defensive line and lifts the side whenever he’s on, extremely underrated by most.
 
It was in a Toohey article where I think it said Brown dropped Yates as he thinks the bench was too small, so Tubby is probably right with Griffin taking Yates' minutes instead of sitting on the bench when he can do both jobs & another prop can be brought in.
 
Yates seems to me to be a great defensive forward but doesn't offer much in Attack a bit like Buhrer ..

Even though Watson is a running half freak and setting up tries and well, Lambs laughable?

Would be early 2000s or late 90s.
We've be terrible on the road for 20 years. And average or worse at home for 15.
 
I think this game will prove to be a massive low point in our season, Titans will do a job on us.

Hope our boys don't underestimate them.
