Saw Moga in the group huddle before the game standing between Best and Sione and making them both look like midgets. If that guy is fit and ready, we need him in the side.
I thought Hunt looked out of his depth today. He is a good player who gives 100%, but a fit Moga is in another class.
We can't ask McCullough to do 65 tackles and play 80 minutes for the next 18 weeks. We need another hooker on the bench.
Next week Barnett comes in at 13 and Eseese goes to the bench and pushes Guerra out of the 17.

Mann had some great touches today. I wouldn't mind giving him a bit of a rest with that ankle. Maybe a week off and then 14. the week after before returning to 6. Watson will be back and mcullough can play 50 min then.

Changes, Mann rested Crossland in, Fitz in Guerra out, Hoy out Randall in, Glasby in Ese’ese to bench. Pick either Jones or Guerra on bench

I don't know how people have Hoy out. He came on against Melbourne and straight away created something.

Mann out rested and Hoy deserves a shot at 6, Fits in Guerra out, Randall in for Mann on bench and to spell McCullough if required.

I’d leave it the same and have Guerra to bench to accommodate Fitz. Jones drops out.

If Mann is injured or needs a rest I’d look at Crossland. Otherwise, same team that’s played out of their skin bar one half of sloppy footy.

If Mann's ankle is ok why would he need to be rested after 3 games. Why would anyone need to be rested after 3 games .. They all just had a preseason and played 2 games then had 10 weeks off and have played 3 games what are they all powder puffs now.
Players used to play the whole season plus SOO and then tests after the season , now we want to rest players after 10 weeks off and 3 games.
Mann was our best ball runner yesterday so im not sure replacing him is the go especially with a debutant .

Crossland already debuted but agree that Mann should keep his spot unless injured.

Mann had a problem with his ankle during 2nd half, assume same one, we have short turnaround, play Thursday, which reduces recovery time, better to rest him for one than lose him for lots, or worse early in game against the Broncos. Mann played well against Storm

Ese'ese was a little disappointing but leave him there against his old club.

Said it last week, and I'll say it again. I just don't see the point in Hoy being on the bench. He had no game time in the Raiders game, and 20 minute? yesterday. He doesn't play like Watson where he comes in and makes runs down the middle (Not to say he can't, he's definitely got the ability). He's a playmaker that gives other people opportunities and it just doesn't feel like it works in a 20 minute stint.
As good as Mann has been, if we want a 14 playing like Watson, it should be Hoy playing 6 and Mann coming on to split open the defence in the late stages of the game (Also don't agree with this, Mann has been doing his job so far, no reason to demote him).

After Mann having 2 blinders short of him being to injured to play its laughable to suggest benching him to accommodate Hoy. If anything Hoy should be dropped.

Getting Hoy game time now will be very handy in 20 or 30 games from now, when we need him to be ready to step up.
You could say the same for another 5 blokes though - Randall, Crossland, Saulo, To'a, Sasagi - all guys you would like to see getting some NRL experience now.

I think Hoy would benefit from a proper preseason and a season in NSW cup @ 5/8th as the main man.

With a lot of local sports back up again surely NSW is back up again in the next few weeks?

Unfortunately Canterbury Cup (AKA NSWCup) has already been declared cancelled for 2020 season...
