Agree people know he is good but underestimate him at times. Also how much he contributes to the Celtics team

Pau Gasol in my opinion he does all the hard work for the lakers and all the praise goes to Kobe Bryant.

haha no way everybody knows pau gasol is amazing. Most followers tend to know that the lakers isn't really a one man team.

The same could be said about Rondo then, Boston fans know he is a great player. Most fans of other teams or the ones i know at least reckon Kobe runs the show by himself at the Lakers.

I dont think Rondo is underated, that's why the Celtics have "the big 4" now. Use to say Stoudamire was but now he made the transfer to the Knicks he is copping heaps of publicity.

No way Rondo's underrated. The media's all over him these days.

Gasol's regarded as one of the best big men in the league. Wouldn't call him underrated either.

Just off the top of my head, I'll go with a few lesser known players who've been playing well: Shannon Brown (Lakers), Arron Afflalo (Nuggets), Landry Fields (Knicks), and Dorrell Wright (Warriors).

They have been giving Fields a good wrap lately, I have not seen him play is he a power forward?

    He's a 6'7" shooting guard.

He's been playing extremely well for a rookie who was drafted 39th overall in the 2nd round. He plays mistake free basketball (which is rare for a rookie), rebounds the ball like a big man (he's hands down the best rebounding guard in the NBA this season, averaging 7.4 boards a game) and contributes nicely on offense, shooting at a very productive 52% and shooting well from beyond the arc at 38%.

    Very solid player.

He sprained his left knee against the Pacers about a week ago. He's out 2-3 weeks.

Not that they are underrated, but I admire Durant, Westbrook and the entire OKC Thunder organisation. They are going far in the future. That squad will be crazy good in a few years if they stick together

I especially admire Durant for being loyal and sticking with a small organisation such as OKC Thunder. He's a superstar in todays game and could make much more money and get much more publicity if he were in a bigger market. OKC Thunder probably have the smallest market in the NBA, yet he's sticking around and being loyal and carrying that team because he knows, like everybody else does, that a team like that really needs a superstar if they're a chance to survive.

Durant is not at all underrated! Did he play for the sonics when they were around?

No one said Durant was underrated. Both me and Jonno said we admired the bloke for sticking around in OKC. He's clearly one of the best players in the NBA.

And yes, I believe the team who originally drafted him was the Seattle Supersonics, meaning he did indeed play for them when they were around (his rookie season, 2007-2008 I believe).
