Under 19s origin

I obviously don't know who is available for Qld, but they could do worse than to pick Seve at centre on reputation and Nonu on the wing. Nonu was outstanding today, even if it was one of the few games he didn't score a try.

Was initially named as an alphabetical squad but team lists are available now:

Winter playing fullback
Hagan starting hooker
Seve straight in at centre for QLD

You'd have to back NSW on the strength of those selections.
Winter and Hagan are killing it in reserve grade.
17 year old Seve is holding his own in Flegg, but not doing enough to get selected 2 years young.

Anyway - looking forward to the game, and if Seve surprises, that will be great for us.

Lacey Cross is having a very good game in both attack and defence.

Emily McArthur is defending strong, but no one is passing her the ball in attack - just doing run after run and getting cut out every time. She is always the go to ball runner at the Knights, and often has a sneaky off load when she gets the ball.

Lost 22 - 18
Qld halfback Lewis was the difference. A star of the future.

Our girls went OK, but McArthur and lewis were both used as props, and McArthur is a ball playing lock and Lewis is a second row.
Lacey Cross went great in her usual position though.

I like Winter so far a few rough edges but Hunt has a lot and I mean a lot and people are ready to toss him in starting centre next year despite losing so far everytime he has played there this season as a starter.

Hagan is really good and should find the bench a few times this year and might push Graham out next year, tough defender, good service and fast

Seve was as physically strong and talented as anyone out there, but like in our flegg side, he just doesn't seem to get involved as much as he could.

Winter is a few more years away from first grade than what people think. Happy to be proven wrong. Why is Qld so much more hungrier than NSW always.

People are gonna be very disappointed of they think there's someone within the club currently that's going to 'replace' even a 35 yo Gagai at centre.

Gagai is a generational talent with ball in hand and became something of a gifted defender in his later career. Huge loss for next season.

Yeah I’m actually disappointed to hear the club won’t resign him. Despite his age he is still playing good footy and I’m sure he would play on for a reduced contract.
