Yep nah not happened lol
Hard to get excited about this, personally. Not to be a downer intentionally though. It'd just be ideal to have some more clarity about what will happen with the game generally.
Feeling the same, fantastic signing but hard to be excited about anything at the moment.
Newcastle Herald reporting that Knights and Dragons will announce the signing tomorrow
They’ve both signed him? That’s one way to get a pay rise.
Herald also saying our head coach considering moving away from Newcastle to work back on the tools. What an absolute crazy time.
Lauchy Fitzgibbon might pick up some work as a project manager on the centre for excellence and employ O'Brien to push a barrow. Maybe get Rick Stone in as a chippy.
Good thing Shane Flanagan is there who knows a thing or two about rorting the salary cap to reconvince Frizell to stay heh
Good deal for us, a season less wear and tear on the body.
Not wrong becomes a hell of a lot more attractive, not the type of forward who will hit the pies and p!$$ all summer by the looks of it.
So we should have a strong team next year. That is something to look forward to.
So many players off contract... technically we dont have enough for next year
Bit worried that we seem to be paying him more than Klemmer.
Klemmer left Canterbury because they under paid him, so he'd have a right to be not impressed if we paid a guy who isn't as good as him more money.
Klemmer is on more than 700k
For mine this has a long way to go yet as no contracts will be registered in the forseable future and talk of up to a 50% reduction in the 2021 cap could hamper things.
Great news, probably the best looking pack ive seen on paper at least. Should be enough to challenge top 4 now.
I realise we only played 2 games but whats impressed me with those wins was how calm and composed Pearce looks out there.
Hard times to see what will happen with nrl now but guess thats the same with everyone.
Can't see us re signing Guerra unless he wants to take a big paycut to keep playing next year.
Moga won't be re signed.
Eseese might have to take a paycut or be replaced by lower priced guys like Saulo and Croker.
Watson is an interesting 1. He would be on big money for his next contract, and the coach will have to decide if the money could be better spent on a forward like Eseese.
I like what i saw from Eseese this year at lock, i think he needs to be a starting position.
I agree on Guerra and moga, Watson is a great utility player every team would love to have. Espically now that Brailey has done his ACL.
