That’s true and I could be wrong but I think they’ll only offer him a 1 year deal

Interesting that the best performing prop in the ESL for the first 2 rounds is former Knights junior Mitch Garbutt.
Apparently his new club, Hull KR, has stripped some weight off the big unit, down to around 115kg, and he is finally performing at age 29.
He only had 12 games of NRL for Melbourne and Brisbane, but he was the top prop in the Newcastle comp as a young fella, and later he was a star in the Qld cup.
In two games so far this year he is averaging 25 carries per game, 164 metres run per game and 30 tackles per game.
