I can confirm Toka agreed to terms during the week to join his big brother in Newcastle next year.

I remember it being in a thread somewhere but couldn't find it. Big damaging prop playing U20s.

He'll be in NSW Cup next year, which is good. Wonder if he's a hard worker or a short burst impact player.

Awesome! I was excited by this when it was first rumoured a few weeks ago. He's one of the stockiest mountain of a man Ive ever seen in the toyota cup and the fact that he can play wing as well as prop shows that he's got plenty of speed too which is a real asset to a big guy like him. To me he looks like a copy of Dave Taylor, just without the play making skills but unlike Taylor, Toka isn't a cat.

Definitely a short burst impact player. He's massive.

Surprisingly he can play wing too. I think they only put him out there because he's such a big unit and would just power his way over the line every time he had the ball.

    Edit: What Junior said lol

I think Siuatonga is a certainty to re-sign, especially since Sau isnt likely to be with us next year.

I reckon Toka will have a full year in NSW Cup before making an NRL debut but who knows...

That'll be a great move for Junior. With Nielsen gone, Junior only has to play decent enough for O'Neill to be pushed out to the wing over Waqa or Quinn. Bennett couldn't save Junior, if Bellamy can't, who can?

I don't think it's a case of Sau not being able to be saved by Bennett. It's just his style is not suited to how we like to play. And Bennett tried to fit him in at right centre, which is also something he isn't. When you got a guy like Tahu it's hard to fit Junior in.

Neilsen and Sau are very similiar players, rarely do they pass the ball and they are solid defenders.
