Someone we should look at or no ??

    SHARK ON THE MOVE

Sam Tagataese’s time at Cronulla has come to an end.

The premiership winner has not been offered a deal for 2018 as the club looks to add some young blood to their pack.

While his time at the Sharks has finished, it’s understood he has options.

Two NRL clubs are keen on the 30-year-old, while several Super League clubs have also expressed interest.

“Nothing has been confirmed yet,” Tagataese told Private Ryan.

“Still in the pipelines. Hopefully we’ll get something done before next season starts.

“My focus is to stay here in the NRL and I’ll probably go overseas for a couple of years in the future.”

    At the right price.

He would give us another experienced option in the second row - front row if injuries happen.

Not a bad pickup as backup or front row. I dont mind him but haven't watched him much this year

Would be a cap friendly signing you'd assume.

So at this stage who is our forward leader?

I thought he was rumoured to be off to Manly...

He'd be decent on peanuts off the bench or as depth.

For mine I think Aiden Guerra and Jamie Buhrer will be our forward leaders. Tagataese would be a great replacement for Mickey Paea. Keeps pushing poor Sione further back with each signing, alas.
