Lino could grab his chance when he gets it. Hopefully he does and shows us he can back up for 20 odd rounds.

I think brown is feeling the pinch, hence why he moved Ponga back to fullback. The board and fans expect wins

If Ese,ese is wanting to go back to NZ for family reasons then let him , id hate to lose him but if his head isn't in the right place (understandable) and he needs to be with family then let him go and throw a heap at TPJ .

Getting dropped and then contacting another club without notifying the Knights beforehand says a lot about his character in a situation like this. He should have a chat to Levi and just rip to be fair.

Why don’t we wait until a few more rounds than round 3 to decide what more new players - if any - we need to inject into the team?

Ese’ese problem is reported as emotional so think we should wait and see if it resolves itself, he may end up wanting to stay and he is a very good player, the type we should want to keep.

Would hate to see him go, he was one of our best last year. In saying that it would be hypocritical for the club to stop the move on compassionate grounds considering they did the exact opposite to sign Klemmer at the start of the year

Exactly that though, the start of the year. It's a lot harder to find a replacement mid-way through. If he really wants to go then let him but not until the end of the season and not until we can find a suitable replacement.

Goes without saying if he does leave aside from what he has earned this year we contribute ZERO towards his contract.

A Dragon mate told me on the weekend Herman will be going to his club. Thought nothing of it. Mole tweeting Dragons interested now it looks like Merrin isn't going to club.

Especially with Guerra gone and the Safiti's injury prone.
Guerra & Ese were our 2 best forwards last year.

It had nothing to do with being dropped to reserves after being our best forward in 2018.

Can’t see the point of him going if not to go home, NZ, why buy best prop to only let a top one leave, weakens the original advantage/improvement in the squad. At his and everyone else’s best in squad is in our 3-4 best middle forwards. We now will rely on JSaf more and hope to avoid injuries like has occurred to Guerra. If we start with Klemmer, DanS and Glasby we then fall away a bit with Gavet, King, Saulo and awaiting JSaf getting fit and that’s without further injuries over the next 20wks.

I suspect that Herman was dropped because he was grieving and couldn't focus on holding his position in first grade. He's spent a few weeks in reserves to keep his match fitness up without the pressure of performing in firsts. They described the reason he was dropped was his defensive deficiencies, but I think that is just to keep his private issues private. If he's had time to process and get back into the swing of things, I think Herman will be big for us this year. Klemmer and DSaf have been the only forwards who have really stood up for us this year, so I think Herman will be firing with Klemmer to bring some aggression.
