With metre eaters in the Twins and Herman we need some one to control the ruck. I feel like Blair has the ability to slow down the ruck and dictate the speed of the play ithe ball. If we didn't have the Players we do and will be getting I would want a bar of him. But I feel like he compliments our pack

Just look at his form at the Tigers then imagine what he'd be like here, have any nightmares yet? I really don't know about this.

Nah Blair is a solid starting forward and ese ese would add some good impact off the bench

Barnett can be the main impact forward off the bench who can cover frf, 2rf and lock

Also cant see them changing Sione back to ctw or even bench. He will be 1st picked in the starting forwards imo.

    He shouldn't be first picked.
He's only first picked because Browny has no clue on how to choose a captain.

Pete was offered a contract he wasn't happy with a while ago. Since then he has been linked with Saint Helens, but Saint Helens fans say that doesn't make sense because they have no spots open.

That's bigger career suicide than coming to the Knights!

Grant started for the Tigers today.
I don't rate him but it will be interesting to see what his stats are at the end of the game.

Given those two options, with nothing else considered, I'd take Blair every day.

Tbh, with no disrespect to Grant, if he were to cost us $300k I'd rather we keep our powder dry and wait for some other opportunity. The Saifiti boys, while no doubt needing help, have grown a leg this year and King has improved, Fitzy as well etc. I'm not a massive fan of Blair (of course I don't know the bloke and he could well be a champion guy) but I reckon he'd compliment our squad well and I'd cop $500k for him. Especially if people are open to paying $1million for Graham, who I admire and respect, but not for that sort of coin.

There's no doubt that Blair is a far better player than Grant, Grant would be a waste, no better than Starling & would eventually find himself out of favour playing in reserves. The question is whether Blair has the ticker to come here & perform well. I don't want to see the guy come here on big money & laze around like he did at the Tigers, maybe James Graham screaming at him during games would keep him motivated.
