Alot of players used this season, after Tariq makes his return that will make 26 players used after just 6 games. Thankfully it's just Brown trying out players rather than tonnes of injuries like last year.

Pretty happy with that side, Paea hasnt really impressed me. Had 2 good runs in his first game but has been monstered a few time also.
Big bench can hurt us with our poor D
Although Stockwell and Pauli up from with Jacob at lock swapping with smith would bring plenty of power running.. those 3 one after anothe to start the set is almost mouth watering in anticipation. Shut down woodsy and teady and we win motor in with a W!!!

Our best side so far this year. The fact Paea misses out shows how decent our pack is.
We should win this one, especially being at home. It's the first time in a long time that I look at our side compared to the oppositions and feel really confident.

I didn't think i'd say this in 2016, but i'm pretty happy with our forward depth now.
The Saifiti twins are full on bonus players in our top squad. No one thought they would be fighting for spots in our top 17 this year.

3 Captains are we trying to be a laughing stock?

1 Captain then a leadership group surely.

When it was announced, Brown alluded to there being no real standout & he wanted to see if over time a standout did emerge during games from the leadership group. Which is fair enough, although I would have probably just given it to Hodkinson.

I know its slack to Joseph but I would drop him for another prop. Size is one area were we have a good opportunity to get on top of the Tigers.

Strongest team possible for mine though.

Imo Hodkinson hasn't impressed as a leader thus far! I think Teriq will thrive with this extra role, mite be the thing he needs to control his own aggressive play also.

I'll be interested to see how Jacob goes off the bench.
He might put in a quality 30 or 40 minutes against tired players.
In the lower grades he had a habit of popping up in the backline when a break was made, and scored some good tries because of it.
If he plays shorter minutes we might see him running with the backs a bit.

Should have quite the impact. Hopefully keeps up the go forward. I'm really looking forward to sunday!

Jacob had a poor game on the weekend.
That flop was one of the turning points of the game.
He was also at fault for the Storm winning try.

Pretty happy with that side, Paea hasnt really impressed me. Had 2 good runs in his first game but has been monstered a few time also.

Paea only got like 15 min last game didn't he?
But I'm stoked with this side I think once the boys hit some form it's a half decent squad. Imagine if Levi or Randall has a stellar year and Gagai picks up fullback as well as we dream..we would have a great squad imo

Yep, in a team that was down to 15 after 30 minutes!!
You would think a prop with over 100 games would have extra time? not less.
Good back up guy, like Fa' Alogo.
