It'll be good to get a win here and make up for our last away trip. I wouldn't want to be 0/2 and the boys starting to doubt themselves in every away game. A good win and we're back home against the Panthers before the bye.

I thought the Dragons were decent against the Sharks but the 3 games before that they had nothing. I think we have the better forward pack so we should be able to get on the front foot which will keep Soward out of the game, and Mullen's kicking game should help keep Morris' kick returns to the minimum. We just have to keep doing what we've been doing, run hard, kick long and have a good chase. We're completing better than anyone, we're defending better than most, we're doing everything right, it's all about consistency!!!! Hoping Boyd has a big game! I'm confident the boys can keep it going

I think last years team would struggle up against the Dragons this week, so I'm hoping we aren't that team and come away with the 2 points.

I'd nearly go as far as saying that if we win this convincingly, we're a much better team than last year and that game against Manly in Round 2 was just a small hiccup.

I'm PRAYING that the game against Manly was a hiccup, I hope we learned from that and never, ever take a team lightly again. We have flogged 2 teams and have ground out another which lead to another big win, surely the boys will realise how good they can be if they stay focused and play disciplined, consistent football.

We've had a much more promising start than last year, if we can play just as well away as we have been at home then we're going to be a massive threat to the competition this year.

The dragons come into this game with some confidence and will lift to the occasion. They beat us twice last year but we are a much better team this time around and the dragons have struggled. Last round was the first time this year they have scored a decent amount of points (25) and that came of the back of the Sharks making 14 errors most of which came in their own half.

We have the 2nd best attack (104 points) and the 5th best defence (60 points conceded) The dragons have the 3rd worst attack (58 points) and 7th worst defence (94 points conceded).

History between these 2 teams is a little 1 sided and not the way we want it to be...

Head to head they have played 26 times the Dragons winning 17 times Newcastle only 9 and surprisingly we have really struggled to beat them even when we are at home 14 games played dragons have won 12 we have only won 2.

However when they are at home we seem to do better having played 12 times at WIN or Kograh for 7 wins and 5 losses with that being said I am tipping the Knights to continue this trend and their strong start to the season

    Knights - 26
    Dragons - 12
    FTS - Uate
    LTS - McManus
    MOTM - Mullen

We should win. Cronulla offered nothing once Carney left the field. I look forward to the next game against a "top 8" side. We fell at the first and only hurdle in that regard.

    Us 32 them 0

They'll probably score first and then we'll dominate for the rest of the game.

    Knights - 28
    Dragons - 10

First three rounds, opposing team have scored first. In our wins we have only conceded 4 points in the second half(80th min try @ Tigers)

    Second half specialists :D

Our NSW Cup side now seem to have the same trouble ie getting to the full time siren. Any similarities from the NRL side of a couple of years ago that couldn't keep their mind/body on the job for 80 ?

Our NSW Cup team coached by Stone is playing like our Stone coached team from 2010-11, scoring plenty of points early but not being able to hold a team out. Not that i think it's anything to do with Stone, just an interesting coincidence.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility it does have something to do with a lack of ability to keep the team focused for 80 min. 1 of concerns back then with Stone was what I perceived to be a weakness at preparing a team mentally.

A very young forward pack is why. Guys like Frei and Toka Likiliki are just up from NYC and their motors aren't up to tackling seniors for long minutes. Dylan Smith and Ben Tupou are also blowing hard after 40 minutes. All those guys will get better and better as the season goes on.

Fair enough reasoning but a starting pack that contains 9. Chris Adams,10. Korbin Sims,11. Zane Tetevano,12. Marvin Filipo and13. Matt Hilder with the assistance of the bench shouldn't be gone after 40.
