Starling threw one poor pass that led to a try the other end of the field, but apart from that he went OK.
I felt a bit sorry for him on the sideline - he was pretty nervous and warmed up 4 or 5 times before they finally let him go on.
at least he has that out of the way now.

Yep only saw that one pass that went to ground from starlo. Still all the knights players just stood around and watched him run away with it. He gets a pass from me. Levelled cam mcinnes. Seen some great wrestle from him too.

Pretty good season for both herman and Dan safiti.
Herman averaged 123.32 m a game
Dan averaged 113 m a game
I think dan was struggling for fitness at the start of the season if you ignore Dan's first six games he averaged 129.46 m a game for the rest of the season. And there should be more improvement next year.
If we could get two more forwards of there quality we would be set.

I don't know if it's a thing with all big, young forwards, but the Saifitis have started every season slow and finished really strong.
Dan has his best games in the last half dozen every year, and Jake had his career best form in the world cup after the season was over last year.
Kade Snowden was the same as a young guy - till his mid 20s really.

There'd have to be a slight doubt over JSaf if the description of his shoulder fracture was accurate. Multple fractures resembling a crumpled up bag of chips sounds pretty ordinary.

Nothing to do with today's game but does anyone else think the season went quick ? Seems like only a few weeks back Ponga scored against Manly with his second touch having a viagra like effect on Knights fans.
Yes to quick hopefully our season will be longer next year.

It’s amazing how time flies when you aren’t a pile of snot. This year, even against the top teams I had the thought of “who knows” where in the past past, I’ve thought “well I ****ing know”. Even with a few pull my hair out lows this year, it’s been enjoyable for me. I feel like an Ethiopian with a rice cracker, it’s not much, but it’s better then ****.

This season is a win for me i was expecting to finish between 8th-12th and we have. With all the injuries we have had, we have done well.
Next year is looking very positive especially if we get a good prop or two and a nice goal kicker.
We have finished 11th or 12th. So good to not get the spoon.

It was great getting to games this year actually realistically giving us a chance to win.

Another year wrecked by injury for us, what is with this happening to us every year?

Todays game, we should have won this one but just didn't have that bit of polish to get us over the line. If we have Ponga, fitz and watson we win. Probably would just with Ponga.

Barnett, ordinary game. Did more damage to us then them.

Levi - has struggled a bit in recent games but still makes good contributions. Just the errors he makes, make him easy to whip. Lets see how he goes next year knowing he will be hooker and we have a team that hopefully we can keep together on the park. Agree the barge over attempts need to stop, and he has reduced the frequency of those compared to the season prior. His attempt today was on tackle 2 rather than his usual tackle 4 or even 5, but really they had him covered.

If we can snag some help in the forwards, and next year can keep at least Pearce with either watson or ponga on the park with him we will make the finals.

It's funny reading people say that the answer to Levi going off script is to buy Luke.
Levi is trying to imitate Luke, who ad libs all the time, and can win you a game or lose you a game.
Personally, I love that Levi trys stuff, and I think any side that doesn't try stuff becomes predictable and is easily beaten, but if you are one of those that wants "mistake free" football, Luke is really not the guy you want.

That means you are getting old mate! The older one gets the faster they go.

I think Levi is only going to get better. His smarts will come. He needs to work hard on his IQ for next season. You could see he wasn’t looking to to take the quick tap every penalty which is good. He will get there.

Hoping the Broncos put at least 34 points on Manly today so they can finish the year as the worst defensive team this year. We don't want that title!
