Going to game in corporate box and not even keen anymore, why get excited for us just to get disappointed in couple weeks as even if we make finals we won't last long. Quite depressing really, especially when the game is corrupt and we can't ever field a full strength side

Question must be can we beat Parramatta with shallow forward depth? Finals a l-o-o-o-n-g way off for us methinks.

No Hodges helps but can't see us beating Brisbane on current form.

After Roberts performance against the Cowboys, I wouldn't be surprised if fit Gower is thrown in there, we really need some size up the front though, Mason and Smith back would be huge for our finals hopes.

As much as I like Tyrone, I think it is time he was dropped for some experience and creativity. I would like to see Gower given a chance playing halfback, I want to see how he can steer the team around the park.

I would put Ty on the bench and see if Gower can make his mark in the first half. Desperate times require desperate measures. That was a definite ambush last week and the thing is, most people saw it coming. We are in for the same on Fri. With all our resources, you would think someone would be able to work out a way of overcoming that approach by our opponents. There must be tactics. Admittedly, our handling errors were partly to blame, but they can fix this. Hope Willie and Jeremy come back fully fit and can steel us up. It's now or never and I want to see that "never say die" attitude that Newcastle are known for and we witnessed against the Sharks. Go Knights!

Last week we were going for a record most wins in a row on the road since 2006. We **** at breaking those mini records.

It will be a big ask, Brisbane stunk last week and will be wanting to send off their players on a high.

No Snowden is going to hurt... Mason needs to fire up.

I looked at some TV guide online for Newcastle when I made the thread and it said it was delayed but I just looked at another one and you're right it's live on NBN. I've only just realised that there must be no Channel 9 in Newcastle and there's no NBN in QLD apart from here on the Gold Coast. Who knows!

Just another little stat for this year...I know what if's are pointless now but oh well

The Knights have played in 9 games this year that have been decided by 8 points or less, They have won 3 of them, Drawn 1 and lost 5...

If we had a better record in tight games we could be currently placed as high as 3rd ...

Need to learn how to win those tight games !!

A few of those tight games were against top four teams, so the effort was there... once again execution and consistency is the key for us...

Doesn't look like Smith or Gower will be fit for friday...

Buderus's last 3 tries in the NRL have been on QLD soil? Is that a good reason. 2 of them being at suncorp last year

We will improve so much more when Dobson arrives, I don't think Bennett will stick with Roberts for long next season Dobson will be the cool head and give us another set of options and take pressure off Mullen, In saying that this is a real danger game I can see us getting smashed if we don't want it bad enough, it's princes second last game of his career they won't want to loose.
