I thought Raiders looked good. They will be tough this year.
Yeah I wouldn’t be shocked if the Raiders beat Melbourne. I think they’re in for a decent year.
Hoping storm bashes the crap out of them, typically trips down the highway don't go well for us.
Frank Tim Glasby was brought here to play 13, and the way he played last Friday it is the correct decision.
Expect Penrith to be much improved this week
Last week's game between them and Parra was in poor conditions which led to a massive 30 errors all up
Penrith only completed at 62% and had 40% possession
If they complete at 80% or better and get close to 50% possession they will be tough to beat
I am happy for Glasby to play 13 , it is our bench which needs to be considered, we need "like for like" players, commensurate with Players you Sub off or get injured - this will not leave us weakening spots when rotations are initiated.
If we win the middle vs Penrith we will win.
We will 1000% smash Canberra in the middle and have way to much skill out wide for them, id target the chit out of BJ with banter and attack his side all night, he cant help but explode when under the pump and getting tormented which will end in us scoring points once he cracks it.
I was replying to prop scarcity due to injury, I like Glasby at 13 but if further injuries happen before Saifiti boys are ok then Guerra to 13 is better than King playing.
Mansour ruled out for this clash!
The prop injury list is crazy.
Josh King will probably sit out this weekend because we have to plan for what we do if there is another injury.
I notice Sam Stone had a run at prop in the trial and is now a bench prop in reserve grade. He looks too skinny, but he'd have a similar build to Chris Housten I suppose, and he went well enough.
Which is a shame because I have Raiders in my multi
Game day! Strong feeling we win this 1! Several key injuries and they're down on form and off field dramas. A win against a potential premiership favorites + last weeks win over a top 8 contender to make it 2-0 for the season would be a perfect start!
Whatever happens today, it's great to have a team we can say the same about.
If we can complete at 80% and get our fair share of possession, we are a good chance to beat any side.
Seeing Stone close up in the trial at Maitland I thought he was a different player. The dude was jacked.
I’m confident of a win but I also know Penrith are going to be much improved on last week and will make us work for it. If we can hit them early, keep Maloney and Cleary at bay and defend just as well as last week then we’ll give ourselves a shot. Let’s hope Klemmer activates beast mode again and Ramien sees more ball.
I think from round 9 they reckon we have one of the hardest draws
Yep plenty of good teams in the back half of the year
Moga is out of reserve grade - replaced by Heath Gibbs - that could mean anything from him being sacked to starting in firstgrade.
He has been stood down for two games. Due to his taxi incident.
