Don't see us winning this one (but we always fire up when the opposition is favourite).

The Eagles side on paper is absolutely astonishing and they have the form to back it up...so definitely not confident.

I'm a bit scared, going to this game with all Manly fans, I'm hoping the trip home will be a pleasant one for me and quiet for them! It's either going to be a close win for us, or a potential flogging like we copped at bluetongue the past few years, let's hope not though!

Think this might be a wake up game, big crowd on Sunday arvo against our arch rivals, our season on the line and being underdogs. I can smell an upset!

    Knights - 22
    Sea Eagles - 16

    MOTM - Edwards
    Crowd - 23,162

That scoreline reminiscent to anyone?

Stig and De Gois starting is going to give us a massive boost. And Nevs return is going to help is alot. He was playing great til he got injured.

Forecast says it is going to rain :( I hate it when we have a blockbuster game like this one and mother nature has to ruin it!

    Knights 24-16

Team looks much more balanced. Costigan sure to stiffen up that forward pack. Surprised Kaufusi got a start before Southern however no Ciraldo!

TBH, Manly have definitely been a powerhouse this season and never look like losing, as-well as having a great team both on paper and on the field, but I can smell an upset coming and it's going to be on our biggest rivals! I believe the boys will come out firing and ready to play for a full game!

Hopefully we can at-least get over 20+ points and demolish them at home!

Need a high scoring match, Knights!

    Knights 28
    Manly 8
    FTS McManus
    LTS Stewart
    MOTM Fa'aoso
    Crowd: 21,348

    Let's go Knights, let's go!

This game is our game! :)

I'm actually confident we can win on sunday. A couple of our guys returning from injury aswell as maddog getting dropped I can just see a different attitude into sundays game. Newcastle vs Manly games have had a funny tradition in recent years where the home side always gets up. Infact manly have only won once in Newcastle since 1997 thanks to an appalling call in that 16-14 loss to them in 2006. I just cant see the knights losing 2 straight at home in quick succession.

    I'm gonna predict

    Knights 19
    Manly 12
    Crowd 23,285

We won't put more than 18 points on them, if we are going to win this one it will be our defence that does it.

Plays To Watch: Uate and Naiqama tag-teaming for huge inroads; Jarrod Mullen’s grubber kicks for the corners; Stig’s sidestep; Matt Hilder’s quick dashes from dummy-half; Brett Stewart’s insertions into the backline; Steve Matai’s brute force out wide; Kieran Foran keeping the opposition guessing whether he’ll pass or run, Daly Cherry-Evans’ evasion skills.

Did anyone else laugh when reading this on the nrl site preview?

This will be a tight one. The boys have to play better than they did on Monday night - no ifs or buts about it. Get back to basics - including hard tackles and catching the ball. No stupid, flashy plays.

They have a home crowd behind them, I reckon we will win, but it will be a squeaker.

Taking a stab in the dark but 1997 GF?, It will either be Knights 1-12 or Eagles 12+, We need this win to stay in top 8 if we lose be could't drop to 10th
