The young kids like Dearden and Staggs were trying and having a dig, the senior players like Boyd...were not

some people are just not leadership material
And Boyd is not one of them.

Which makes his efforts on Friday funnier after backhanding Seibold when he put him at fullback he goes in and puts a defensive effort like that

I think I’m in the minority but I think Staggs is a tad overrated at this point in time. Has some flashy plays and a few classy tries, but can’t see what all the hype is about at the moment. Especially not for Origin anyway.

Attack is great but defence needs work. You need to be good defensively to get an origin gig.

His missed tackles stats are probably under inflated by the fact he doesn’t even bother making the tackles so they don’t count as a missed tackle

Good teams put the sh*t ones away as evidenced by a understrength Roosters side.
