Looks like Quentin Pongia didn’t make it and passed away, sad news
Pongia passed away - not Dureau (for anyone who just had a heart attack after reading the above post - like me).
Edited my OP
Thought this deserved it's own thread
Fantastic player, Thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time
Even with that said I wonder what Dureaus chances are of getting rid of the cancer again after Pongia had the tumoir removed late last year.
Jon Mannah was a similar thing
It's pointless speculating about cancer. You can have 100 people with the exact same symptoms and the exact same treatment, and some will live and some will die, and if people knew why, they'd change the treatment to improve chances - which happens often.
In short, what happens with others doesn't mean much - it's the luck of the draw.
Spot on. This week I had my beloved Corgi put to sleep because of cancer!
