Personally I don't think were going as bad as people seem to think ..Cronulla have strike power all over the field but we beat them so what happened to there attack. The Panthers are a top 4 side apparently with the current NSW halves and a monster pack , they beat us by 2 points so what happened to there attack .
Canberra are playing bloody good footy this season with most of the English rep pack and they beat us by 7 points what happened to there attack .
The Dragons have a very good big side and they were very lucky to beat us , what happened to there attack .
Were not playing near our best and we could have easily won all those games , When the boys all click we will win more than we lose .
    Give them time .

For mine, it's not about the narrow losses. I can accept a loss so long as the team plays hard for 80 minutes (or more, as was the case on the weekend). What most concerns me is the lack of direction in attack. So many times, our players seem clueless as to what the play should be, and our game management has been off. It's not that our attack hasn't worked. As a spectator, it looks more like no one on the field knows what we should do next, other than pass it to Ponga. That's most concerning for me, but I understand that the team needs time and they should improve.

    Thank you!

It honestly looks like they have no idea what’s going on when they get the ball. They either stand and stop and look around for someone else or run sideways and make an error. This isn’t what a Newcastle team should look like. Years ago we didn’t mind chipping to our wingers or chancing our arm. We’ve just got no plays.

If you're coaching a team and the opposition are giving us a bath in a certain area wouldn't you adjust your game to deal with it ? Seems that every week the opposition are in our faces before we can take a step but we're coming to week 5 and nothing's changed.

Yep - I'm no coach, but when there is a group of players rushing up (which usually isn't the entire defensive line), I wonder if we could pass it wide of those players, work it up the field and then try and kick behind when close to the goal line. I'm sure the coaching staff have ideas (and are more qualified to provide those than me). We just don't look like we have any strategy when on the field with the ball in hand.

As ive said for 5wks, the strategy has been around fast tracking KP as a half,
I guess i as others expected more VS the Dragons with KP back in the 1 jumper.
I do really feel like Pearce isnt happy with the hype around KP and his not giving 100%.
When he starts to gain control i expect a major improvement on out attack.
P.S someone needs to protect Pearce when kicking, the guy is being smashed why to much.

If I was coach I'd get all the boys on beetroot juice. The stamina you gain is quite remarkable.
