Article from the NRL's website (source: https://www.nrl.com/news/2021/10/14/league-legend-norm-provan-dies-aged-88/) -
As a Rugby League Immortal and a player that is memorialised atop the NRL Premiership Trophy with his mate Arthur Summons, Norm Provan was a player that epitomised a Rugby League warrior on the field and a gentleman off the field.
The only player to have won 10 first grade premierships, he was a great ambassador for the sport and a great human being - the rugby league community has lost one of it's best - stealing somebody's quote from another site that captures his essence...."He is the player who the other Immortals carry off the field".
RIP Norm
