No Alloimai this week.

Geordie on the wing is a complete waste, strictly a 5/8th or a fullback IMO.

He scored two tries on debut last week, pretty impressed.

He scored both of his tries on the wing last week  Api played centre in the second half.

No way he would get a go ahead of Roberts or Sullivan.

Didn't realise!

His best position is at 5/8th, can't wait to see him play there later on.

There is an incredible amount of football nous and individual skills in that side.
Morseau is a genuine playmaking fullback who played halfback for Melbourne NYC last year.
Connelly is a fullback and 5/8 with a good kicking game and playmaking skills.
Api is a genuine quality playmaker with passing and kicking skills.
Will Smith has been a playmaking halfback and fullback with kicking and passing skills.
Tyler Sullivan has done everything from playing for Aus and NSW as a playmaker to being our youngest ever NYC player at 16 to playing hooker for Cessnock in the real NRL grandfinal. He plays 6, 7 and 9.
Tyrone Roberts has passing and kicking skills and plays 6 or 7.
Ethan Cook used to be a 5/8 and has passing and kicking skills.
Aloi Taufaao plays 7 or 9 equally well and has a good kicking game.
Chad Redman has played halfback for Hunter Sports high, and played full seasons at centre and lock in Mathews and Ball.

Matty Johns will have a chance to work with these guys to develop their skills - and i don't think we've ever had a squad with more skills to work with. We have 8 kids who can kick for goal. Tyler Sullivan is a genius goalkicker and he is about 4th in the list.

A heap of those guys - Smith, Morseau, Sullivan, Connelly, Taufaao and Redman can all back up again next year. At the moment the Knights junior of the year and NSW rep, Dale Clacherty, can't get a run, and SG Ball halfback Kurt Mann is so good they might have to find a spot for him too in a couple of months.

Api played the whole game at centre with geordie conelly on his wing, Tyler Sullivan was 5/8 in number 19. This shuffle was because Chanel matautia was pulled out of the squad during the week. Big Josh will miss this weeks game through suspension. It will be interesting to see how they go without the roll on that Josh creates. I know sims and mason are good front rowers as with sam Anderson but Josh will leave some big shoes to fill.

What I find weird is that there are two hooker/halves on the bench. Alai and knight.leaving only one front rower and one second rower as replacements and a front rower as 18th man. Especially in the heat of Townsville you would think they would have atleast two front row replacements on the bench.

Just on Josh Ailaomai, he was put on report late in the game for an elbow to the head of a Panthers player who was on the ground. It was a frustration thing and he got given a week for it.

He will be missed up front this weekend!

According to NRL Stats. Hasn't had a run and only made one tackle.

Has also given away a penalty.

Maybe he is injured.

It's Halftime.

Cowboys 12
Knights 10

Connelly would probably be better off playing 5/8 in SG Ball and giving himself a shot at playing for NSW under 18s than playing on the wing in NYC - but he is better off training with NYC because they train at a much higher level.
Connelly and Kurt Mann would make a great combination in Ball.

a small loss (4 tries all) to the Cowboys in north qld was a very good result.
Cowboys started the season as short priced favourites for the title and our guys have not played in tropical humidity before.
A win would have been nice, but that is still a good result.
